This story began with our founder, Cindy Joseph.

Before she founded BOOM!, Cindy spent 27 years traveling the world as a professional makeup artist.

During her decades as a makeup artist, Cindy invented and perfected her own version of the natural look for top models of all ages and complexions.

Little did she know she was creating the inspiration for our original makeup.

When Cindy started BOOM! in her 60s, she set out to create simple, “pro-age” makeup that reveals natural beauty at 50, 60, 70, 80—and every age after.

She designed three makeup sticks that she called BOOMSTICK TRIO^®.
