Hi Melinda, Thank you for reaching out about this. We understand your concern. Please allow us to explain. It’s true that Boomstick Color is not designed to last all day. There’s a very good reason for that. We intentionally use very light pigments in our Boomstick Color to bring out the natural radiance in your skin. If we used heavier, more intense pigments, our Boomsticks might last longer, but they would also contain chemicals that stain your skin. The result would look cosmetic and fake. Instead, we chose a lighter, more natural-looking pigment that doesn’t last quite as long, but it’s designed to make you look like you—only when you’re at your happiest. If you prefer this natural look, you will need to touch up Boomstick Color throughout the day. Our customers have reported that one stick of Boomstick Color lasts 6- 8 months with daily use, so feel free to touch up as much as you please. (For more on Boomstick Color, check out our FAQ page.) We also have two other ideas for you to try. If you find your Boomstick Color is not lasting as long as you like, try moisturizing first. Apply a coat of Boomsilk, Boomstick Glo, Boom Cotton, or the moisturizer of your choice. Let it dry. Then apply your Boomstick Color on top and see if that makes a difference. Or try going without moisturizer. Simply apply Boomstick Color to a freshly washed face and see if it lasts longer.
