Sarey, another friend of Cindy’s, wrote, “I was blessed to know Cindy and to call her a friend. Seven years older than I, Cindy taught me so much about embracing aging and my silver hair, and helped me to recognize my own beauty.
“More importantly, Cindy taught me how to live life to the fullest with passion and without fear. I am 61 now, traveling the world, having adventures and am in a passionate new relationship. I’m happier than I’ve ever been and I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Cindy—one of the most influential women in my life.”
Boom Ambassador Dina Dillion described how she met Cindy in BOOM!’s early days.
“And all of a sudden, Cindy popped out on Facebook and said, ‘Hey, who in the Houston area might be interested to come and be on a show with me and talk about Boom products?’” Dina said. “And, of course, I jumped on it… There were about 80 of us. And Cindy decided to pick a couple of the ladies there and demonstrated how to put on Boomsticks.
“Cindy was awesome. She took time to visit with each of us. Her message in person...it's just the same as anywhere, you know? On television, on Facebook, the message was solid through to her heart: being pro-age.
“I just feel so fortunate to have spent that time with her and, you know, felt a connection… So, yeah, it was the most incredible time to get to spend with her and learn from her.”
Finally, a classmate of Cindy’s left this comment to remember her: “Last weekend I went to my sister's 50-year class reunion. Cindy graduated that year as well. There was a beautiful area set up to commemorate the ‘Fallen Warriors’ from the Class of 1969. Sadly, Cindy was on that memorial display.
“As a nice touch, the planners left sticky notes that we could attach to the memorial board. I wrote one for Cindy, noting what an inspirational dynamo she was and how her products made me think of her every day as I did my makeup routine… I'm so glad that Cindy Joseph's legacy lives on.”—Marilyn, Class of 1967
